Ohio-Based University Explores Collaboration with Silliman

An administrative officer from Ashland University (AU) in the United States was on an exploratory visit to Silliman University on May 7.

International Programs Executive Director Dr. Nathan Myers met with Silliman officials led by President Dr. Ben S. Malayang III and Vice President for Development Prof. Jane Annette L. Belarmino to discuss opportunities of collaboration in the areas of faculty and student exchange, research, and international grant projects.

Dr. Myers also met with the Dean of Students Dr. Edna Gladys T. Calingacion, Research and Development Center Director Dr. Enrique G. Oracion, College of Business Administration Dean Atty. Gloria G. Futalan and College of Nursing faculty Asst. Prof. Rowena M. Turtal.  

Ashland University is a private university located in Ashland, Ohio. Partnerships with universities outside the US are critical to AU’s development and implementation of their new global competency programs.
