4 PhD in Nursing Students Present Papers at International Summit

Four students in the PhD in Nursing program presented their respective research papers at the First International Nursing Research Summit held April 20 to 21 at the University of the East-Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Inc. In Quezon City.

They are Freslyn Lim-Saco on “A Review of End-of-Life Simulations Grounding the Learning Framework of the Experiential, Transformative and Competency-Based [EC] Learning Model,” Cliford M. Kilat on “Structure, Process, and Outcome of Health System: In the Eyes of Clientele,” Francis Marven Lee P. Locsin on “Patient-Centeredness as Expression of Spiritual Care Competency in Nursing,” and Ayeza Cathrina B. Tinagan on “Nursing Theory of Spiritual Care Competency.”

Themed “Relevance and Application of Nursing Theories in Advancing Nursing Science Through Research: Our Millennial Direction,” the summit aimed to utilize innovative techniques and principles of current trends in nursing research, and bring together nursing institutions towards strengthening academic networks.
