Happy Founders Day!

We welcome you all to the campus to celebrate with us the 113th Founders Day. 

August is undeniably the most festive month in Silliman. It is when hundreds of alumni come home to share in a celebration of life and friendship. We gather as one Silliman community to retrace our roots, build on common memories, and reaffirm our bond to an Alma Mater that has shaped us into who we are today. 

There are many activities that each of us can participate in. They evoke strong memories of student years, inasmuch as they define what Silliman Spirit truly means to us. Young or old, Sillimanian or not…the Founders Day always has something that can help uncover that piece of “Silliman” in each of us. 

Silliman is blessed with a ministry for 113 years. These are years that saw the University through both its challenging and good times. And in all these years, God has never failed to manifest His greatness to and through Silliman. 

Let us celebrate the 113th Founders Day with renewed optimism that the years ahead will enable Silliman University to continue being a blessing to many more; and that, with us, the blessing that it is brings a profound experience further beyond its Portals.
