Accountacy Majors Represent NegOr in Regional Stats Quiz

Two first year students in the Accountancy program will be representing Negros Oriental in the regional phase of the 23rd Philippine Statistics Quiz (PSQ) after clinching the top spots during the provincial round.

Zsamyla Nikka Abrasaldo and Ariel Tag ranked first and third, respectively, during the PSQ Negros Oriental challenge held November 10 at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas building in Dumaguete.

Conducted annually, PSQ is a competition designed for first year college students enrolled in any private or public university in the Philippines. It was launched in 1992 as a joint undertaking between the National Statistics Office, the primary statistical arm of the government, and the Philippine Statistical Association.
