Choristers Wins Best Interpretation in NAMCYA

The Silliman University Campus Choristers bagged the Best Interpretation Award during the National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) held November 21 to 26 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines in Manila.

Led by Asst. Prof. Mark Ian A. Caballes of the College of Performing and Visual Arts as conductor, the Choristers clinched one of the coveted awards for their moving rendition of the piece “Sa Magandang Silangan.”

NAMCYA aims to discover and develop outstanding young and Filipino musicians and artists.
