Available Scholarships for School Year 2012 - 2013

Abby Jacobs Scholarship
For incoming freshman student enrolled in the English Department. Covers Tuition Fee (*)

Bob & Metta Silliman Scholarship
For students with high academic performance, leadership potentials, church involvements and dramatics. Preferably for Engineering and Computer related courses. Covers Tuition Fee and books (*)

Crescencio Bendijo Scholarship
For continuing sophomore student from Southern Leyte enrolled in any basic course leading to a bachelor's degree.  Covers Tuition Fee (*)

Dr. Hubert Reynolds Endowment Scholarship
For continuing junior student of the Social Work program. Covers Partial Tuition Fee (*).

Dr. Rainer and Marie-Paule Neu Scholarship
For promising incoming freshman student from a rural community and/or ethnic group enrolled in a course leading to a bachelor's degree. Covers Partial Tuition Fee (*). 

Jose Baccay Scholarship
For worthy and deserving college students from Bicol Region enrolled in any basic course leading to a bachelor's degree. Covers Full School Fees (*)

Leopoldo T. Ruiz Scholarship
For incoming students in Sociology, Anthropology and Education with high academic performance. Covers Full School Fees (*)

Paul Smith Scholarship
For continuing junior or senior student enrolled in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering course with Cumulative QPA of 2.75 or better (*).

Portal Scholarship 
For incoming freshmen belonging to the Top 10% of their graduating class with a high school general average of 88% or better and no grade below 80%. This covers 75% free tuition and 25% work grant (*)

  • Arts - Public Administration, Sociology, Philosophy, Anthropology, Creative Writing
  • Education - Math, Preschool, HE (Nutrition & Dietetics), Library Sciences
  • Business - Economic, Office Management, Entrepreneurship


Ruby & Rudy Figueroa Scholarship
For continuing junior student enrolled in any basic course leading to a bachelor's degree.  Covers Partial Tuition Fee (*)

Tenorio-Mendiola Scholarship
For High School Valedictorians from the provinces of Negros Oriental and/or Samar. Covers Tuition Fee for the freshman year only.

Aid to Minister's Children
Guidelines for the selection and awarding of this scholarship have been amended. Beginning SY 2012-2013, applicants for this scholarship are required to apply and meet the new criteria. (Contact SSAD Head for more information.)  

International Christian Scholarship Foundation (ICSF)
For incoming first year Medical School students with QPA of at least 3.0 and with a National Medical Admissions Test (NMAT) percentile of 45 & above in the Baccalaureate Degree; preferably with Latin Honor. Covers Tuition Fee* 

William Barry Thompson Scholarship (WBT)
For incoming first year Nursing students who graduated from Negros Oriental schools; Must have passed the College of Nursing examinations (oral and written) with a total grade of 3.0 and above; Should come from a low income family. Click here for details.

For Divinity Scholarship, please inquire from the School of Divinity.

(*) support until graduation as long as the scholar complies with all the requirements of the scholarship.
