Sillimanian Bags Bronze in Southeast Asian Archery Championships


Ninth grader Nicole Marie Tagle sealed the three top spots for the Philippine team with a bronze medal in the Individual Junior Recurve Women’s Category of the 2017 Southeast Asian Archery Championships on January 20 at Yangon, Myanmar.

The Philippines bagged six gold, four silver and two bronze medals against athletes from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, guest team Hong Kong and host Myanmar.

Tagle is trained by Silliman alumni Joy Mariño and Clint Sayo from the Dumaguete Archery Center.
