Sillimanian to Compete in 2017 Southeast Asian Archery Championship

Ninth grader Nicole Marie Tagle is set to compete in the 2017 Southeast Asian Archery Championships on January 20 at Yangon, Myanmar.

Tagle is among the newest additions to the Philippine Team, contending in the Junior Recurve Women’s category.

Silliman alumni Joy Mariño and Clint Sayo from the Dumaguete Archery Center are also part of the Philippine Team as coaches.

Another alumna, Olympian Jennifer Chan, will also be competing in the Compound Event. According to World Archery Philippine president Atty. Clint Aranas, they will take the tournament as a tune-up for the coming Southeast Asian Games in August at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
