SU joins affiliation to promote S&T in Region 7
Vice President for Development (VPD) Jane Annette L. Belarmino represented Silliman University (SU) in the signing of a memorandum of agreement (MOA) on the Central Visayas Consortium for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (CVICEERD) Feb. 7 at the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Regional Office VII in Cebu City. CVICEERD is an affiliation of academic institutions and government agencies in Region VII dedicated to advancing science, technology and innovation in the industry, energy, and emerging technologies sector.
As a member institution of CVICEERD, SU commits to promote science and technology applications through R&D, Capacity Development, Knowledge Management, Technology Transfer, Promotion and Commercialization, and Policy Analysis and Advocacy.
