The Office also acts as the Secretariat of the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia and as the Liaison to the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia.

 

Applications now open for the 2020 Young Global Changers program, Berlin, Germany!
The Young Global Changers program brings together young people from around the world who are working towards a global paradigm shift, combining their talents and together becoming a strong voice for change. Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship to participate in the Global Solutions Summer School and the Global Solutions Summit from April 17-22, 2020 in Berlin, Germany.

The Yenching Global Symposium (YGS) is an annual event that brings together people from different fields and across generations with a common interest: China. This year, the three-day event will take place in March 2020 and will comprise engaging speakers and interactive events on the topic of Sino-Sustainability: Reimagining Global Solutions. This conference will feature prominent international scholars and leading young professionals from a wide range of fields and will provide a highly focused, application-based experiential learning platform.

The ASEAN Foundation is currently calling all ASEAN youth to participate in their eMpowering Youth Across ASEAN Programme. This programme targets youth between the ages of 19 to 35 years old from all 10 ASEAN Member States to be changemakers by providing them with a platform to learn, contribute, and advocate solutions to social and economic issues.

Citizen Journalism Workshop – YSEALI – US Embassy 
U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh, Cambodia and the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) seek candidates for the 2020 YSEALI Citizen Journalism and Free Flow of Information Workshop, which will be held on April 27-May 1, 2020, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The workshop will bring together 60 YSEALI members who, at the end of the workshop, will gain a practical understanding of citizen journalism, as well as the skills and resources needed to produce quality evidence-based reporting. Participants will also get the opportunity to practice their newfound citizen journalism skills in Siem Reap to produce compelling, fact-driven reports.
