Silliman University (SU) has retained its position as the ninth-ranked university in the Philippines in the 2027 QS Asia University Rankings, maintaining its standing from the previous year.

In the latest rankings, SU placed within the 741–750 bracket in Asia and ranked 128th in South-eastern Asia.

The rankings place SU among the country’s top 10 universities, alongside the University of the Philippines (123rd in Asia), Ateneo de Manila University (151st), University of Santo Tomas (202nd), De La Salle University (204th), Mapúa University (494th), Adamson University (509th), University of San Carlos (549th), Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (678th), and Polytechnic University of the Philippines (751–760 bracket).

The QS Asia University Rankings evaluate institutions using 11 indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per paper, faculty-student ratio, international faculty, international students, inbound exchange students, outbound exchange students, international research network, papers per faculty, and staff with PhD.

SU’s continued presence among the Philippines’ top 10 universities reflects its sustained standing in regional higher education rankings, which assess academic performance, research, and international engagement.
