Silliman University (SU) will hold its Presidential Candidates’ Forum on December 1, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Claire Isabel McGill Luce Auditorium, bringing together the four shortlisted candidates for the University presidency.
The candidates, Dr. Theresita Atienza, Dr. Alberto Madrigal, Dr. Betty Makani, and Dr. Kevin Henry Villanueva, will present their respective leadership visions, priorities, and proposed initiatives for the University. The Forum will also provide an opportunity for members of the Silliman community to engage the candidates on the University’s future direction.
Organized as part of the selection process, the Forum will be livestreamed on the University’s
Facebook page. This will enable alumni and other stakeholders who cannot attend in person to participate remotely. Additional details about the Forum will be announced before the event.
The University will soon publish the candidates’ profiles.
