Novee E. Maestrecampo Jr., Office of Community Engagement and Service-Learning (OCESL) director, was officially sworn in as a member of the National Volunteerism Resource Pool (NVRP) by the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) on December 12, 2023.

The induction ceremony was officiated by Civil Service Commissioner Atty. Karlo Alexei B. Nograles and PNVSCA Executive Director Donald James Gawe at Century Park Manila.

The NVRP stands as a pivotal component of the PNVSCA’s broader initiative. It strategically engages experts to enhance the capacities of the public, businesses, and civil society organizations in volunteer management. By leveraging the expertise of seasoned volunteers, the NVRP contributes to creating a more conducive environment for volunteering, aligning with the overarching goal of fostering a culture of service and community engagement.
