SU among top 10 PH universities in Webometrics list
Silliman University (SU) ranked 9th in the list of top 10 universities in the Philippines published by the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities in January 2021.

SU joins the following universities in the top 10: University of the Philippines (System), University of the Philippines Diliman, De La Salle University Manila, Ateneo de Manila University, University of Santo Tomas, Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Technology, University of San Carlos, Mapua Institute of Technology, and Central Mindanao University.
Webometrics ranks universities around the world based on their Open Access initiatives and electronic access to scientific publications and other academic material.
According to its website, the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group under the Spanish National Research Council, the largest and leading public research institution in Spain.
SU continues to be among the eight Philippine universities ranked in the top 550 universities in Asia by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) in its 2021 Asian University Rankings. SU also ranked 8th in UniRank’s 2020 Philippine University Ranking and was the only university outside Luzon in the top 10.
