SU produces 13 CPAs

Silliman University (SU) produced 13 certified public accountants (CPAs) who passed the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants (CPALE).

The SU College of Business Administration reported that the following graduates of its Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program are now CPAs:

2. Abuzo, Larra Tisha A.
3. Almodiel, Luke Frankincense S.
4. Arado, Peachy Vera R.
5. Catipay, Joefil B.
6. Dandal, Ian Roland, C.
7. Debuyan, Melyn Joy D.
8. Komura, Ron Samu T.
9. Nieves, Nhyza Gianne V.
10. Pelarios, Irene F.
11. Remulta, Nicole Claire C.
12. Sarno, Vnzichro V.
13. Sigasig, Jayco J.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 2,740 out of 8,734 passed the licensure examination. 

SU’s passing rate of 52% is higher than the national passing rate of 31.4%.
