SU ranks 5th among PH universities in QS Asia University Rankings 2023
Silliman University (SU) continues to rank 5th among the top universities in the Philippines listed in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings 2023.
SU shares 5th place with Ateneo de Davao University and Mapua University, making it one of the seven Philippine universities in the top 600 universities in Asia based on the QS 2023 Ranking.
Among 760 universities in Asia, 16 universities from the Philippines were included in the QS Asia University Rankings 2023:
- University of the Philippines (#87)
- Ateneo de Manila University (#134)
- De La Salle University (#171)
- University of Santo Tomas (#175)
- Ateneo de Davao University, Mapúa University, and Silliman University (#551-600)
- Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (#601-650)
- Saint Louis University (Philippines) and Xavier University (#651-700)
- Adamson University, The Cebu Technological University (CTU), Central Luzon State University, Central Mindanao University, Central Philippine University, and Lyceum of the Philippines University (#701-750)
Key indicators used to formulate this year’s rankings include academic and employer reputations, the number of staff holding a PhD, and the percentage of international students.
