SU welcomes Australian ambassador, Australian embassy party

Silliman University (SU) welcomed the Australian ambassador and the Australian embassy party, November 8, 2021 at Silliman Hall.

Australian ambassador to the Philippines Steven Robinson visited SU with Australian embassy officers James Yeomans, Political, Economic and Public Diplomacy counselor, and Bianca Suarez, program officer.

Dr. Betty Cernol McCann met with the Australian embassy party at Silliman Hall to explore possible partnerships, specifically in SU’s key areas of expertise such as environmental conservation and protection.

Asst. Prof. Jane Annette Belarmino, SU vice president of development; Dr. Earl Jude Paul Cleope, vice president for academic affairs; and Dr. Mae Brigitt Berna Villordon, College of Arts and Sciences dean, also met with the party.

The party also toured the Dr. James V. Chapman Room and the Laura Hibbard Heritage Room on the 2nd floor of Silliman Hall.
