Over 2,000 athletes, coaches and school officials convene at Silliman University for the 15th Philippine University Games (UNIGAMES) on October 24 to 30.

There are 14 sports events spread across the Silliman campus and sports facilities in the partner universities and local government units: Asian College of Science and Technology, Colegio de Santa Catalina de Alejandria, Foundation University, Negros Oriental State University, St. Paul University, Dumaguete City and the municipalities of Valencia and Zamboanguita.

The 15th UNIGAMES is largely supported by the provincial government of Negros Oriental and the city government of Dumaguete.

Started in 1996, the UNIGAMES is the only national collegiate sports competition organized in the country. The University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City first hosted it. The goal is to gather the finest varsity athletes from private and government universities from all over the country in the spirit of fair play, friendship and top-caliber competition.
