Management Senior Named Bagong Rizal Awardee
A senior student from the College of Business Administration is one of 17 youth adjudged recipients of the Mga Bagong Rizal: Pag-asa ng Bayan Award 2013.
Jayson M. Capundag, a senior Management major, will receive December 30 the award which recognizes young people’s community involvements, leadership potential and high academic standing.
Capundag, who hails from Siquijor, is a consistent honor student. He is actively involved in two top student organizations: Renaissance Youth Forum and Pathways Youth Group, and is currently president of the Silliman Junior Business Executives and a college representative in the Student Assembly.
Began in 2011, the Search for Mga Bagong Rizal: Pag-asa ng Bayan Award is spearheaded by the Philippine Center for Gifted Education Inc. It is conducted every two years around the country.
