Book Week Opens Nov. 10, Highlights Value of Culture, Arts
A series of activities – from lectures, competitions, storytelling, workshops to creative performances – awaits members of both Silliman and the larger community of Dumaguete during the celebration of National Book Week at the Robert B. and Metta J. Silliman Library on November 10 to 14.
This year’s celebration coincides with the 20th Book Fair of Silliman University and the 3rd Learning Resource Exposition (LREx), both highlight the importance of culture and the arts, with its theme: “Celebrating Community Spirit through Cultural and Artistic Performances.”
The celebration of National Book Week in Silliman is spearheaded by the University Library Committee and the Library System.
