Country's First Female Pop Opera Group to Perform at Luce

The Cultural Affairs Committee brings to the Claire Isabel McGill Luce Auditorium on July 31 described by The Philippine Star as the country’s first young female pop opera group. 

Opera Belles was formed by the Philippine Opera Company and is composed of three charming ladies: Allison Tanner, Lara Maigue and Jam Valdes — all trained in classical music. Their unique classical twist to Filipino pop songs appeals to both young and mature audiences.
