2 students join Ayala Young Leaders Congress 2021

Third-year Silliman University students Niel Anthony Lajot and Seth Regine Serdan were chosen among more than 800 applicants nationwide to participate as delegates in the Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC) 2021.

Lajot from the College of Mass Communication and Serdan from the College of Education Teaching Education Department are among the final 84 delegates of AYLC 2021, which kicked off online last July 3 and will run for the whole month of July.

Lajot and Serdan were selected based on their academic achievements, awards, recognitions, and track record of leadership involvement and commitment to serve their school and community.

AYLC, the flagship youth leadership program of the Ayala group of companies, is an annual leadership summit that brings together college and university student leaders. It aims to build confidence, hone leadership skills, nurture commitment, foster nationalism and idealism, and encourage faithful stewardship among student leaders.

The theme for AYLC 2021 is “Leaders Reimagining Hope.”
