COPVA Offers Short Photography Course for Second Time

COPVA Offers Short Photography Course for Second Time

Following its success during the previous semester, the College of Performing and Visual Arts (COPVA) is once again offering its short course on photography this semester.

In the course, students will learn the basics of photography and its technicalities, such as aperture, ISO and shutter speed, and how to mix and match these to create great pictures. They will also explore different types of photography, from event to food photography, and go on fieldwork to sharpen their skills.

Towards the end of the semester, students will have their photographs exhibited at the Foyer of the Luce Auditorium.

The short course will again be taught by seasoned photographer Mr. Urich Calumpang, one of the pioneering members of the Silliman University Camera Club.

Interested students may inquire by contacting the College of Performing and Visual Arts at (035) 422-6002 local 250 | e-mail: [email protected].
