PRC Ranks Silliman Top 6 in Nutritionist-Dietician Exam
Silliman University is ranked sixth among top performing schools during the 2012 Nutritionist-Dietician Licensure Exam.
The ranking was done by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) among schools with 25 or more examinees.
Based on the results released July 27 by PRC, Silliman produced 20 new Registered Nutritionist-Dieticians (RND), garnering a passing rate of 64.42 per cent.
Only 601 of the total 896 takers in the whole Philippines passed the exam.
Earlier, the Nutrition and Dietetics Program of the University, which is under the College of Education, became the first of such program in the country granted Level I Accreditation Status from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities.
