64 Students from Korean University Study English, Business in Silliman

Sixty-four students from Hannam University, South Korea are in Silliman University from January 8 to February 3 under two separate programs.

Forty-two are enrolled in the Intensive English Program (INTEP), while 22 are on campus under the collaboration between the College of Business Administration (CBA) and Hannam’s Linton School of Global Business (LSGB).

Handled by the Language Center and the English and Literature Department of the College of Arts and Sciences, INTEP is designed for students with a non-English medium background who desire to enhance proficiency in the English language.

The program with CBA, on the other hand, aims at providing the Korean students learning and exposure opportunities in Philippine business and culture, and the prospects of strengthening social and economic bilateral relations between the Philippines and Korea.

Together with the students from Hannam are their respective professors: Dr. Kwang Yil Park, Dean of LSGB, and Prof. Kim Nam Soon, Prof. Lee Hee Tae and Prof. Yang Won Seok for the INTEP group.
