Distinguished US Professor to Keynote Healthcare Event
A well-respected professor of a prestigious university in the United States will serve as the keynote speaker of the College of Nursing at a seminar-workshop on December 3 at the Claire Isabel McGill Luce Auditorium.
Dr. Marilyn A. Ray, who holds the title professor emeritus at Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, Florida Atlantic University will discuss “Phenomenological Hermeneutic Research”.
A former military nurse, Dr. Ray is one of the founders of the International Association for Human Caring (previously National Caring Research Conference), an organization that aims to raise awareness about caring science. She is an expert in transcultural nursing and has published a book on it titled “Transcultural Caring Dynamics in Nursing and Health Care”.
Over a hundred healthcare professionals and students from different parts of Negros Oriental are expected to attend the event.
