17 Faculty, Staff Honored for 20 Years of Service; Math Prof Receives Merit Award
Silliman University honored a total of 18 faculty and staff members for long years of service and contributions to the intellectual life of the University, during the celebration of Faculty and Staff Day held February 12 at the Silliman Hall.
The University awarded seven faculty and ten staff members for their 20 years of loyal service to the University, while a faculty from the College of Arts and Sciences, Mathematics professor Dr. Jenette S. Bantug, received the Faculty Merit Award for both high teaching and research performance.
Presenting the awards were Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Betsy Joy B. Tan, Vice President for Development Prof. Jane Annette L. Belarmino and Human Resource Development Manager Atty. Joshua Francisco J. Ablong. Vice President for Finance and Administration Atty. Fe Marie D. Tagle was also present but as one of the service awardees.
