Law student among top oralists in national moot court competition
Kyle Balansag, a second-year student at the Silliman University (SU) College of Law, placed 7th in the Top 10 Oralists of the DivinaLaw-University of Santo Tomas (UST) Philippine Jessup Cup Moot Court Competition, February 25-28, 2023 at UST.
The SU College of Law is one of the 12 schools in the country that was represented in the competition.
The SU College of Law team competed against law schools from Arellano University, Ateneo de Manila University, Cagayan State University, Saint Louis University, San Beda University, San Sebastian College Recoletos – Manila, University of Cebu-Banilad, University of San Carlos, UST, University of St. La Salle-Bacolod, and University of the Philippines.
Winners of the DivinaLaw-UST Philippine Jessup Cup will represent the Philippines in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, the oldest and largest international moot court competition in the world.
DivinaLaw and the UST Faculty of Civil Law have co-sponsored and co-organized the Philippine Jessup Cup Moot Court Competition since 2014.
