Washington, D.C.’s Golden Triangle neighborhood is set to become a haiku gallery for poets, including Keanu Paul B. Sygaco, a senior student of BS Foreign Affairs.

Sygaco’s haiku will be among the distinguished works displayed throughout the 44 square blocks of the 2024 Golden Triangle Business Improvement District’s haiku event.

The selection process was highly competitive. Only 142 poems were chosen from 4,000 submissions from 88 countries, 49 U.S. States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

Sygaco’s haiku will be displayed on the streets of Washington from March 18 until the end of April 2024.
