SU among top performing schools in Medtech board

Silliman University (SU) is recognized by the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) as among the country’s best medical technology schools after garnering a 93.04% passing rate in the March 2024 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination.

With 186 successful examinees, SU lands 9th place in PRC’s list of top performing schools in the country with 50 or more examinees and with at least a 90% passing rate.

Ricca Christyl Ongcol Sumalpong, an alumna of SU Institute of Clinical Laboratory Sciences, garnered a 92% passing rate, placing her 8th among the top 10 examinees.

This year, PRC announced that 7, 309 out of 9, 068 (80.60%) passed the exam.
