The Silliman University Divinity School is now opening its application for Bachelor of Liturgy and Church Music SY 2024-2025!

Application begins TODAY until August 7, 2024.
The onsite audition will be on August 8, 2024 at the COPVA.

Pre-Admission Requirements

1. Must be a graduate of Senior High School
2. Must be endorsed by the local church (for members of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines)

Admission Requirements

1. Email a PDF file of your Transcript of Records and Grade 12 report card from your previous school to [email protected]
2. Wait for a reply email from the Divinity School for further instructions.
3. Come for an onsite audition at the College of Performing and Visual Arts on August 8, 2024.

Audition Requirements
a. Play two piano pieces of your choice, at least one memorized and one with the score. It must be on the level of Alfred’s Piano Hymn Book, Level 2 or its equivalent
b. Sight-read a piano piece on the level of Alfred’s Piano Hymn Book, Level 2 or its equivalent.
c. Play scales and arpeggios on the piano.
d. Rote singing and ear dictation are to be given by the jury.
e. Sing by sight reading a simple melody to be given by the jury.

4. Take a 47-item Music Diagnostic Exam about musical terms, symbols, and their meanings. The passing score is 30. The exam will be given after the audition.
5. If you pass the audition and exam, you may proceed with the university admission procedure. Kindly make sure to prepare all the necessary documents before coming to Silliman University.
