The Silliman University College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) – Mathematics Department is announcing its call for application to their Bachelor of Science in Mathematics for SY 2024-2025!
A. Admission Requirements for Incoming (New) First-Year Applicants
1. Bona fide senior high school graduate with an average grade of at least 85% in ALL mathematics subjects
2. Accomplished admissions profile via the Silliman University Application Portal at https://my.su.edu.ph/mysilliman/public/admission.php
3. In-person interview with the Department Chair
B. Admission Requirements for Shiftees and Transferees
1. A cumulative QPA of at least 2.0 for shiftees or its equivalent if coming from other schools (transferees)
2. Accomplished admissions profile via the Silliman University Application Portal at https://my.su.edu.ph/mysilliman/public/admission.php
3. In-person interview with the Department Chair
C. Retention Policy and Graduation Requirements
1. After the sophomore year, the BS Math student must have a minimum Mathematics QPA of 2.5.
2. To qualify for graduation, the BS Math candidate must have an overall QPA of 2.0.
3. Evaluation of a student’s academic standing is done at the outset of the ensuing school year by his or her adviser. A BS Math student may be asked to repeat certain courses to improve his/her academic standing to meet Departmental standards
