SU JHS receives PA system donated by SUHS Class of 1975

As part of their Golden Reunion Project, the Silliman University High School (SUHS) Class of 1975 formally turned over the One-Way Public Address (PA) System to and signed the deed of donation with Silliman University (SU), on August 25, 2025, at the SU JHS Compound.

The SUHS Batch Class of 1975 was represented by Benjamin Liberato O. Calderon, batch president, while SU, by Dr. Betty Cernol McCann, president.

Totaling an amount of Php 640,000.00 for the procurement and installation of the one-way public address system within the JHS premises, the project of the SUHS Class of 1975 ensures and strengthens the Department’s “connectedness within school premises daily and especially in times of emergencies or natural calamities where immediate information is needed to be relayed in the shortest time possible.”

Together with Calderon, who signed the deed, was Leo O. Fortugaleza, SUHS 1975 member, and the rest of the ‘75 reunioning batch. McCann was joined by Asst. Prof. Kristine N. Busmion, JHS principal, and the SU Enterprise and Development team.
