SU, Khan Academy PH ink partnership on digital learning

Silliman University (SU) and Khan Academy Philippines (Khan PH) formalized a partnership to advance technology-enabled learning through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on August 26, 2025, at the SU Board Room Annex.

The agreement was signed by SU President Dr. Betty Cernol-McCann and Khan PH Chief Operations Officer Atty. Myrish C. Antonio. Under the MOA, SU will provide infrastructure and institutional support for the implementation of Khan Academy in its laboratory school and identified Department of Education (DepEd) partner schools. SU pre-service teachers will also be engaged in a Khan Academy Internship Program.

Khan PH, for its part, will provide training, capacity-building, and continuous implementation support to ensure the effective integration of the Khan Academy platform into classroom instruction.

The partnership, effective for three years and renewable upon mutual agreement, aims to enhance educational outcomes and strengthen digital learning initiatives in the Philippines.
