SU produces 14 new certified public accountants

Silliman University (SU), through its College of Business Administration, produced 14 new Certified Public Accountants in the October 2025 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accounts (CPA).

Of the 11 first-time takers from SU, eight passed, posting a 72.73% passing rate. The University also recorded an 85.71% passing rate among its seven repeaters, with six successfully earning their CPA license. This brings SU’s overall performance to 77.78%.

Nationwide, 3,460 out of 10,171 examinees passed, reflecting a 34.02% national passing rate, according to the Professional Regulation Commission.
