SU TEVEC and SUMCFI ink MOA for health-accredited programs

The Silliman University Technical Educational Vocational and Entrepreneurial Center (SU TEVEC) and the SUMC Foundation, Inc. formally entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on October 15, 2025, at the Silliman University Boardroom Annex.

The agreement signifies a strengthened partnership between the two institutions in advancing technical and vocational education, particularly in health-related qualifications, through SUMC’s Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) program.
Under this MOA, both parties commit to supporting the implementation of SU-TEVEC programs and SIL for accredited health qualifications.

These include Emergency Medical Services (EMS) NC II and NC III, Health Care Services NC II, Barangay Health Services NC II, Pharmacy Services NC III, and Caregiving NC II—programs designed to enhance the competence and employability of learners through hands-on, industry-based training.

This partnership underscores SU’s continuing commitment to accessible, skills-based education that meets the needs of both learners and the healthcare industry.

Present at the signing from SUMCFI were Ms. Fredita R. Tan, SUMCFI president and CEO; Ms. Felisa B. Pa-alan, Vice President for Nursing Services and Chief Nursing Officer; Ms. Jasmine R.
