Hiroshima College students arrive for three-week Intensive English Program

Faculty and students from the Hiroshima College of Foreign Languages arrived today, November 17, 2025, to begin their three-week participation in the Intensive English Program (IntEP) hosted by the Language Learning Center (LLC).

Members of the LLC welcomed the delegation at Katipunan Hall as they commenced the program running from November 17 to December 5.

The visiting students are Yui Sumimura, Hana Tatewaki, Manata Tsubaki, Taku Watanabe, Chiaki Matsumoto, and Yuto Ochi, accompanied by Prof. Gakuji Tatsumi, Vice President of Hiroshima College of Foreign Languages.

A flagship offering of the LLC under the Department of English and Literature, IntEP provides immersive English-language learning experiences both inside and beyond the classroom.

The center is coordinated by Dr. Joan C. Generoso, department chair, who has led LLC operations since 2021 alongside staff members Dr. Warlito S. Caturay Jr., Deo Mar E. Suasin, John Edgar C. Rubio, Gemmella M. Tebio, and Kaycee L. Melon.
