
SU Nursing board topnotchers receive their checks

On December 10, 2025, at the Silliman University Boardroom, Khyla Shane Jordan Acab (3rd place), Frances Therese Andan Merlas (7th place), and Merl Andrea Gimolatan Daarol (10th place) received their incentive checks from Silliman University for securing top spots in the November 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination.
The recognition highlighted SU’s outstanding performance—among the schools that placed 1st in the 50–99 examinees category, a 100% passing rate, and three placers in the Top 10. The Silliman University College of Nursing (SUCN) produced 91 newly registered nurses in the examination.
SU President Dr. Betty Cernol McCann led the awarding, joined by Dr. Lily Ann D. Bautista, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research, and Dr. Theorose June Q. Bustillo, SUCN dean.
