
SU produces 4 newly licensed librarians

Silliman University (SU) produced four newly licensed librarians in the September 2026 Librarians Computer-Based Licensure Examination, achieving a 100% passing rate.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 760 of the 1,014 examinees nationwide passed the examination, for a national passing rate of 74.95%.
Congratulations to our new Sillimanian librarians and to the faculty and staff of the Library and Information Science program for this achievement. The University also extends its appreciation to the students whose hard work and dedication continue to uphold Silliman’s tradition of academic excellence.
