SU ranks 8th among top-performing schools, produces 34 newly licensed social workers and a topnotcher

Silliman University (SU) ranked eighth among the top-performing schools in its category in the September 2026 Social Workers Licensure Examination, posting a 94.44% overall passing rate and producing 36 newly licensed social workers.

Among the successful examinees was Vanessa Carmel B. Regalado, who placed ninth nationwide with a rating of 91.60%.

All SU first-time takers passed the examination, giving the University a 100% passing rate for first-time examinees. SU placed eighth among top-performing schools with 10 to 50 examinees and at least an 80% passing rate.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 8,383 of 10,991 examinees nationwide passed the examination, for a national passing rate of 76.27%.
