Staff Members Undergo Seminar on 'Purpose-Driven Life'

Some 60 staff members attended a whole-day seminar on “Building a Purpose Driven Life” held May 12 at the Multi-Purpose Hall.

The participants, who were secretaries, office assistants and other frontline personnel, went through a series of sessions aimed at developing a renewed sense of purpose in the work place. They also had exercises focusing on improving communication skills, preventing conflicts in the work place, boosting productivity, and achieving higher job satisfaction.

Speaker and facilitator was Mr. Eli Harrell who is currently based in Cebu. He is president of EMERGE, a company dedicated to providing consulting and coaching services for personal growth and human resource development.

The seminar was an initiative of the Staff Development Committee, done in partnership with the Human Resource Development Office.
