Probe Media Brings to Silliman ‘Mulat Pinoy’
The College of Mass Communication is hosting a half-day seminar that focuses on population and development issues for young student-journalists on January 26.
Mulat Pinoy, a youth media program under the Probe Media Foundation, with support from the Philippine Center for Population and Development, brings in youth reporters in a series of discussions on issues related to population, sexual and reproductive health, environment, cyber bullying, and responsible media use.
A workshop is scheduled the next day for pre-identified youth reporters. Titled “The Art of Storytelling: Finding Your Stories,” the multimedia production workshop aims to equip participants in finding sources and in the overall production of multimedia educational and advocacy materials.
The seminar is part of the Visayas leg of the Mulat Pinoy: Social NetWorth Regional Youth Forums for college students around the country.
