CNU visits SU for benchmarking of its solar installations

Cebu Normal University (CNU), through its Planning, Foresight, and Futures Thinking Unit (PFFTU) led by Planning Officer III Jodle-Job S. Dabon, conducted a benchmarking activity on Silliman University’s solar project, on May 14, 2025.

The activity aimed to gather insights and best practices in renewable energy implementation to inform CNU’s own sustainability initiatives by looking into SU’s solar projects located at the SU Library, Luce Auditorium, and the College of Business Administration (CBA).

The CNU delegation included Junil A. Dagotdot, Cairns C. Ragasajo, Ma. Jodolle C. Badilla, Patricio Lloyd U. Tellidua, Jaira Marie E. Soliva, and Joseph Panindim.
Representing Silliman University (SU) were Engr. Lorena S. Mariño, Officer-in-Charge of the SU Facilities Management, Engr. Ruben O. Omega, Jr., Managing Supervisor for Electrical and HVAC Works, and Asst. Prof. Jane Anette L. Belarmino.
