The Silliman University College of Performing & Visual Arts (COPVA) Major in Speech and Theatre is announcing its General Admission Guidelines for SY 2024-2025.

(Note: This portal will be used for ALL degree and applicant types).
๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐:
1. Complete your personal profile and attach a PDF file of your TOR/grades from your previous school.
2. Submit UNEDITED Talent Audition videos and other major
requirements. (Please refer to the major requirements below.)
3. Talent Audition Videos and other major requirements may be submitted starting JUNE 17, 2024, atย https://forms.gle/HQKfsLGUJY4e8iqb9ย or via email
at [email protected].
4. Take the Online Personality/Psychological Test.
Instructions:
(1) Pay the testing fee of P250.00 to SU Business and Finance Office, payable to SU Testing Center.
(2) Send a clear picture of the receipt to [email protected].
(3) As soon as the SU Testing Center receives your receipt, they will send you the link to the exam.
(4) The summary of your test result will be sent to COPVA Guidance
Counselor.
5. An Online or In-person Interview with the Speech and Theatre faculty will follow.
6. Wait for the results of your application that will be delivered via email. (Please read COPVA Admission Status.)
7. Proceed with the University Enrollment Procedure

1. Talent Presentation (2 UNEDITED VIDEO RECORDINGS
โ 2 to 3 minutes each)
ย Primary: Acting [perform a monologue; with focus on character
portrayal, body movement, and voice]
ย Supplemental: Singing, Dancing
2. Two-page Essay (short bond paper/ 1.5 space)
โข State your Rationale in pursuing Theatre and how it will contribute to the attainment of your personal goals.
3. Portfolio
โข Send a compendium of scanned certificates, programs, attendance,
pictures/proof of all theatre activities/stage performances participated in before enrolling in the program.
4. Online Interview (to be scheduled by the department)

Applicants who have no theatre-related experiences but are accepted by the department will be given an โON PROBATIONโ status and are expected to build up their portfolios within the first two years while enrolled in the program.
