Grade 3 Sillimanian earns Merit Award at SEAMO 2026, Silver Medal in 2025

A Grade 3 pupil of the Silliman University School of Basic Education earned a Merit Award at the Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad 2026, held on January 17, 2026, at the Bali International Convention Center in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia.

Amihan Rain A. Rañola competed alongside young mathematics achievers from various countries in the prestigious international competition, which challenges students through advanced problem-solving and logical reasoning tests.

Her 2026 recognition follows an earlier international success: in 2025, Rañola won a Silver Medal at the Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad, demonstrating consistent excellence in mathematics at a young age.
