HIRING: Silliman University (SU) is hiring a Driver/Mechanic

Job Qualifications:

1. Education:

– High school diploma or equivalent

– Vocational training or certification in automotive mechanics or a related field preferred.

2. Experience:

– At least 2-3 years of experience as a driver and mechanic.

– Experience in driving other large vehicles is highly preferred.

3. Licenses/Certifications:

– Valid driver’s license, preferably professional (restrictions 1, 2, 3).

– TESDA Certificate

– Clean driving record.

4. Technical Skills:

– Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and diagnostics.

– Familiarity with a variety of vehicle types, including buses, vans, and small utility vehicles.

– Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and repair techniques.

5. Driving Skills:

– Demonstrated ability to safely operate vehicles, especially passenger vans or buses and trucks.

– Knowledge of local driving laws and university safety protocols.
