Hon. Angela Charina Mendoza Cortes-Garces to speak as Balik Talent lecturer for CBA Week

Hon. Angela Charina Mendoza Cortes-Garces will be the Balik Talent lecturer for the Silliman University (SU) College of Business Administration (CBA) Week TODAY, April 11, 2025, 2:00 PM, at SU Hall.

Hon. Angela Charina Mendoza Cortes-Garces is the current Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 33 (Negros Oriental). A product of San Beda University, but spent her early childhood education to undergrad at Silliman University (Salutatorian in Elementary, First Honors in High School, and Magna Cum Laude in BBA major in Accounting). She was an active student leader, serving in the SU Student Government. She was also the President of AIESEC (Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales) during her time and as campus figures go, she was a force to be reckoned with. After passing the CPA board exam, she proceeded to take up law. After passing the bar, she joined ACCRALAW (one of the prestigious law firms in the country) before joining the Department of Justice (as city prosecutor) and the Philippine Judiciary (as a judge).
