MLICIL hosts first ICITALKS

The first Innovation, Creation, and Invention Talk (ICITalk) was held July 30 featuring Asst. Prof. Janice Antoniette V. Forster, IT Department Chairperson and TBI Manager, who talked to high school and college students on the ‘Call for Innovation, Creativity, and Invention towards Commercialization.’

ICITalks is a monthly forum hosted by the Mariano Lao Innovation, Creation and Invention Laboratory (MLICIL). It provides a platform for high school and college students, including those studying outside Silliman University, to exchange ideas about innovation and technopreneurship. It aims to inspire innovation, ignite creativity, and push for technology-based invention with entrepreneurial value.The next ICITalk will be on August 13 with guest speaker Mr. Neil Dagondon, co-founder of Edusuite – a system that automates processes involved in arranging classes and subjects for students and school staff.
