Organizational Development & Human Resource Management (OD & HRM) Office is hiring a full-time OD & HRM Generalist

The Silliman University (SU) Organizational Development & Human Resource Management (OD & HRM) Office is hiring a full-time OD & HRM Generalist for SY 2025–2026.

The OD & HRM Generalist will carry out a wide range of HR functions, focusing on administering processes such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and benefits administration.

Qualifications:

1. Holds a degree in a behavioral science course (e.g., Management or Psychology); a certificate or major in HRM is an advantage, as are units in LLB or JD;
2. Has at least one year of experience in human resource management or related roles;
3. Demonstrates knowledge of labor laws, employment standards (especially in an educational setting), and core HR areas including recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and training;
4. Is familiar with HR systems and payroll processes;
5. Can analyze HR data and interpret relevant metrics;
6. Handles sensitive information discreetly and upholds high ethical standards;
7. Works effectively within cross-functional teams and fosters collaboration in the workplace; and
8. Shows initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to learn in response to evolving priorities and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage recruitment activities, including posting job announcements, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, facilitating onboarding programs, and handling related administrative tasks such as compliance monitoring and event tracking;
2. Prepare and organize reports for HR data management and analysis; and
3. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, promoting clear communication, timely issue resolution, and improved employee engagement.
