Outstanding Sillimanians take the red carpet at 64th OSA ceremony

Awardees and past recipients of the Outstanding Sillimanian Awards (OSA) walked the red carpet with their family and friends, along with other alumni and administrators, on August 28, 2026, ahead of the 64th OSA Ceremony.

This year, Silliman University honored eight distinguished Sillimanians: Professor Merlie Alunan-Wenceslao, Edwin Mateo Caliolio, Rev. Dr. Juancho C. Campañano, Cris Jude Lacsican, Commander Edwin Somera Mananquil, USN (Ret.), Dr. Junice Lirza Demeterio Melgar, Dr. Albert Mutia Salamanca, and Cristina “Kitty” Sollesta Taniguchi.

The annual ceremony recognizes Sillimanians whose achievements and lives embody the University’s ideals of Via, Veritas, Vita and bring honor to their alma mater, communities, and professions.
